Bin Hamid Engineering Consultant is an engineering consultancy and contracting firm in Fujairah, UAE, and the Fujairah branch of the Bait Al Khibrah group, a name in UAE construction since 2006. We recently launched their new website at binhamid.ae. Here is what we built and why.
Why bilingual matters in the UAE
In the UAE, a construction firm talks to property owners, government authorities, partners and job candidates. Some of them prefer English and some prefer Arabic. A site in only one language leaves part of that audience behind. For Bin Hamid, English and Arabic had to be equal from day one, not an afterthought.
What we built
A website in English and Arabic
Every page on the site exists in both languages. Visitors switch between English and Arabic from the header, and each language has its own address, such as binhamid.ae/en and binhamid.ae/ar, so a link always opens in the language it was shared in.
An admin panel in both languages
A bilingual website is only useful if it stays up to date in both languages. We gave the Bin Hamid team a bilingual admin panel, so they can manage content in English and Arabic from one place, without waiting on a developer.
A careers page for hiring
Bin Hamid is growing, and the website now helps them hire. The careers page lists open positions with the posting date and location. Candidates can read the full job circular and apply from the same page.
Projects, services and company story

The result
